NSPCC and Cardiff Child Protection Systematic Reviews

Our Core Info leaflet summarises what is currently known about the relationship between fractures and physical abuse

Fractures in children is based on a systematic review of all the quality work in the world literature about fractures in children. This is the one of a series of information leaflets on aspects of physical child abuse based on a collaborative project by the NSPCC and Cardiff Child Protection Systematic Reviews at Cardiff University.

This leaflet summarises what is currently known about the relationship between fractures and physical abuse and will be of particular interest to paediatricians, general practitioners, radiologists, accident and emergency doctors, orthopaedic surgeons, social workers, police and legal practitioners.
